Commercial kitchen equipment industry began to develop from the 1980s in China, having a history of more than 30 years.  

Commercial catering equipment is widely used in Chinese food, western food, hotels, bakeries, bars, cafes, all kinds of dining halls, fast food restaurants and other places. Compared with family dining equipment, its product specifications, types and use range are more extensive.  It is including fryer, griddle, Bain Marie, waffle baker, contact grill, crepe maker, food warmer, lava rock grill, salamander, pizza oven, pasta cooker, souffle machine, conveyor toaster, popcorn machine and candy floss machine, etc.

These western kitchen equipments are powered by gas or electric, having three major production hubs, East China with Zhejiang as its center, South China with Guangdong as its center and North China with Shandong as its center, tripartite complex in China.
